Revill,Revill Lampshades is a small, friendly, Surbiton based business supplying skilfully crafted lampshades.
 
Having worked in the Fashion Industry for 20 years, I decided to make a change and prepare for a new career.
I'd always had a keen interest in both fabric and modern design and having always enjoyed sitting down with my sewing machine to produce soft furnishings for myself as well as for friends and family, I decided to set about learning the finishing details and finer techniques from the experts, in order to turn my hobby into a business. After two years of City & Guilds studying and many practical projects later I discovered that I had a real love and creative satisfaction in the craft of lampshade making. 
 
Now over more than 10 years later I continue to work out of lampshade headquarters in Surbiton, producing professionally made hand rolled lampshades, in close collaboration with St.Jude's who produce fabrics by some very talented print artists including Mark Hearld, Emily Sutton and Angie Lewin.

The FAQ's:

What bulb should I use? The firm lampshades are backed using flame retardant PVC and for all lampshades, I recommend an energy saving eco bulb. The firm Drum shades include a converter plug to adapt to UK/European fittings.

Will my lampshade be exactly as shown in the photo? Please note, due to the size of the pattern repeat on certain fabrics, your lampshade(s) may not show the exact image illustrated. But all are produced with an eye to providing a pleasing design. Colours are reproduced as accurately as possible however, as with all photography, there may be some variation. Any problems? I make every effort to ensure every one of the lampshades I make does not leave until I am completely happy with the quality, workmanship and packaging. If however, an item is faulty and you would like to return, please notify me within 14 days. Once the item has been received back (in the original unused condition) a replacement or refund can be arranged. If returning an item, please include details of your name, address and telephone/e-mail contact.

Delivery: Unless otherwise requested, all items are either posted by First Class Royal Mail or larger lampshades by next day courier. Lampshades are made to order so please allow 1-2 weeks for despatch and for specially commissioned lampshades a delivery date will be confirmed by e-mail.

Postage & Packing: All pricing on this website is based on delivery to UK mainland addresses by First Class Royal Mail. If you live elsewhere, please contact me for a shipping quote before placing your order. To reduce the impact on the environment, your delivery may be despatched in a recycled carton.

At Revill,Revill, as always, I take the privacy of my customers very seriously. I do not sell, share or forward your information to anyone (unless specifically to fulfil an order successfully, as outlined below in the case of organising a courier). In line with the new European General Date Protection Regulation (GDPR) this updated privacy policy explains how I use any personal information collected about you.

Personal Data

Information is collected about you when you place an order such as your email address, invoice/delivery address and telephone number so that your order may be successfully fulfilled and that you may be contacted to update on the progress of your order.  You also have the choice to opt in to marketing.  

I do not share or store any financial details (credit/debit card information).

With larger lampshades, a courier service is used and for this, customer information such as name, address, email address and telephone number can be  entered onto their online booking system in order to organise the delivery successfully. These are cookies that are set by this website directly.

Google Analytics: I use Google Analytics to collect information about visitor behaviour on my website. Google Analytics stores information about what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you click on. This Analytics data is collected via a JavaScript tag in the pages of the site and is not tied to personally identifiable information. I therefore do not collect or store your personal information (e.g. your name or address) so this information cannot be used to identify who you are.

 

Third Party Cookies

There may be occasional third party cookies used - for instance where I add social media buttons creating links to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc. -  and you should be aware that these sites are likely to be collecting information about what you are doing all around the internet, including on this website.
