Revill Revill is a small, friendly, Surbiton based business supplying skilfully crafted lampshades.
 
After working in the Fashion Industry for 20 years, over seven years ago following maternity leave I decided to follow both my heart and my head and prepare for a new career. Having always enjoyed sitting down with my sewing machine to produce soft furnishings for myself as well as for friends and family, I decided to set about learning the finishing details and finer techniques from the experts, in order to turn my hobby into a business. After two years of studying and many practical projects later I discovered that I had a real love and creative satisfaction in the craft of lampshade making. 
 
Working out of lampshade headquarters in Surbiton, I now produce professionally made hand stitched and hand rolled lampshades. The specially selected fabric designs come from a variety of sources, both modern (including fabric designed and printed in the UK) and occasionally vintage. I like to continue to experiment and try out new techniques, always learning something new whilst keeping a very traditional skill alive.

The FAQ's:

What bulb should I use? The firm lampshades are backed using flame retardant PVC and for all lampshades, I recommend an energy saving eco bulb. The firm Drum shades include a converter plug to adapt to UK/European fittings.

Will my lampshade be exactly as shown in the photo? Please note, due to the size of the pattern repeat on certain fabrics, your lampshade(s) may not show the exact image illustrated. But all are produced with an eye to providing a pleasing design. Colours are reproduced as accurately as possible however, as with all photography, there may be some variation. Any problems? I make every effort to ensure every one of the lampshades I make does not leave until I am completely happy with the quality, workmanship and packaging. If however, an item is faulty and you would like to return, please notify me within 14 days. Once the item has been received back (in the original unused condition) a replacement or refund can be arranged. If returning an item, please include details of your name, address and telephone/e-mail contact.

Delivery: Unless otherwise requested, all items are posted by First Class Royal Mail. For items available in stock we aim to despatch within 3 days of receiving an order. For made to order lampshades (which will be indicated on the product page), please allow 2-3 weeks for despatch and for specially commissioned lampshades a delivery date will be confirmed by e-mail.

Postage & Packing: All pricing on this website is based on delivery to UK mainland addresses by First Class Royal Mail. If you live elsewhere, please contact me for a shipping quote before placing your order. To reduce the impact on the environment, your delivery may be despatched in a recycled carton.
